What You Can Do Now to Help
1. Come to our next meeting. You will be welcomed there. The time and location are on our web-site, with a map.
2. Send an e-mail to each one of our county commissioners, and to your state representative and state senator. Their addresses are on the web-site. Call them or write them if you would prefer, but whatever you do let them know how wrong you believe this project is.
3. Call Alan Ferguson at 707-1745 , or e-mail at aferguson@fisherpark.com about picking up a “NO MEGASITE HERE” sign or signs.
4. Write the local newspapers. They will publish what you say. It doesn’t have to be fancy, and it doesn’t have to be long, just say it.
5. Above all, tell all of your neighbors, friends, church members, etc., and encourage them to join us or at least join the effort to stop this mega-mistake.
6. Watch our web-site for news--it is updated regularly. Watch your e-mail for anything about this project. We will keep you posted on everything.
If we stick together, and all say “NO!” loudly enough we can stop this project. Welcome to the fight!
