Site Development Ordinance

State law requires that money to be spent for the purchase of land be approved in a public session of a noticed and scheduled Commissioners' meeting.  The following is a copy of the last two pages of the minutes of the Randolph County Board of County Commissioners' Meeting of the January 7, 2013.  At the close of the session, after the closed meeting, the Board came back into session to approve the use of the $1,666,670 given it by the State. The following grants the County the legal authority to accept and use the tax dollars given the County by the State to begin the purchase of your property.
The actual law governing the spending for the project is set forth in blue in italics type.
